Acupuncture and Shiatsu

Acupuncture is the ancient Chinese therapy of sticking needles into the body to relieve pain. In China, acupuncture is used to treat almost any medical condition. Patients even undergo surgery fully awake while having acupuncture to deaden the pain. In the rich countries, acupuncture has become popular for treating back pain, migraine, arthritis and especially behavioral problems like smoking and overeating. Patients being needled feel little or no pain. Acupuncture needles are much smaller than the type used by doctors to give injections.  The practice of acupuncture is very complicated, and much study goes into learning where to stick the needles. If a patient has a headache, for example, the needles are not stuck into the head but into the leg and maybe the neck. Acupuncturists believe that there are 24 lines, called meridians, that run up and down the body. A person's "life energy" flows through these meridians, and along each meridian there are certain points where needles can be stuck in.the Palestinian government social fresh  science and medicine. Each of the 1,000 points, called boosts, relates to a certain part of the body. The acupuncture needles speed up or slow down the life force moving through the meridians, restoring good health. Shiatsu is an ancient Japanese art similar to acupuncture, but no needles are used. Instead, therapists use their fingers, feet, elbows and knees to apply pressure on the acupuncture points. Some people prefer shiatsu, or the related art acupressure, which uses only the fingers, because they avoid needles and involve touch, which is important in any healing process.

Venous drainage

There are three types of vein in the lower limb superficial, deep and communicating (perforating). Valves are present in the larger veins and all the communicating veins they direct blood flow towards the heart, or from the superficial to the deep veins. The superficial veins drain skin and superficial fascia into two main channels, the great and small sousaphones veins. These originate in the dorsal and plantar venous arches of the forefoot.

In this way one can envisage the gradual development of an increasingly complex chemical system of organic monomers and polymers that function together to generate more molecules of the same types fueled by a supply of simple raw materials in the environment.
